Q What areas do your hire your products to

A We generally supply our marquees and equipment to Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and surrounding areas, some areas will incur a delivery charge which you will be notified of at the time of booking.

Q What type of events do you supply your equipment to.

A Our equipment is available for hire for almost any event whether that be a garden party, birthday party, works party or any special event

Q How long can we keep the Marquee and associated equipment.

A A standard hire period is generally upto 24 hours, additional days can be added at a reduced rate, you are responsible for the equipment whilst in your possession. Equipment can be delivered and collected the same day where required for example events on public land.

Q Are your marquees suitable for hire in all weathers

A We only supply the best commercial grade marquees and gazebos which will withstand most of the weather types we are exposed to in the UK, there are some exceptions / conditions as listed below.

Marquees and gazebos hired when snow is expected must be heated to prevent the falling snow settling in the roof due to loading capacities of the structure.

Marquees and gazebos will withstand wind speeds up to 30 mph when installed and secured correctly on ground where ground anchors can be used, where Marquees or gazebos are required on a hard standing the the safety of the structure is reduced in high winds. On occasion we may have to cancel the equipment where the weather may endanger the equipment and persons using it.

Q Do you have public liability insurance

A We hold 5 million pounds cover.

Q How big is the delivery vehicle

A Equipment is delivered in a transit size van and trailer

Q Do you need access to electricity

A An electricity supply is required within 20 meters if you have ordered electric heaters or disco equipment.

Q. Is a deposit required to book, can I cancel once booked

A. Deposits are payable to book the date, the average deposit is £50 but may be more on larger orders, Orders under £100 May require full payment at time of booking.

Should you need to cancel your booking the deposit is not refundable but may be reallocated to a different date within 6 months subject to availability and at the discretion of Xclusive Party Tent Hire.

Orders cancelled within 7 days of the event are subject to full payment

Q. Can you take equipment through my house or garage to the back garden

A. Most of our equipment is bulky and heavy, therefore we can not take this through the property and require clear access to the set up area, a few steps can be negotiated but equipment cannot be carried up or down a flight of steps.

The area of setup must be free from furniture, washing lines, toys and dog faeces.

If we are in unable to set up for any reason then the full payment would be due.

Q. What happens if equipment on hire is lost, stolen or damaged

A. The person signing the hire agreement on the date is liable for all costs to repair or replace the affected equipment, if the person signing is different from the person hiring both parties are jointly / individually responsible.

Q. Can we decorate the marquees and use party popper, confetti cannons and similar inside the marquee

A. Marquees can be decorated once erected, this must be removed prior to collection, please note some decorations can leach dye when they get wet or damp, this will cause lasting damage to the fabric which would be chargeable.
Party poppers, confetti cannons and similar items often contain these type decoration and shouldn’t be used in or near the marquee.

Q. Can you smoke in the marquee

A. All our tents and structures are no smoking, whilst they are constructed from flame retardant materials they will still be damaged by a fire / flame and will retain the smell of any smoke resulting in charges for cleaning / replacement . Please do not smoke in or around our structures.
